freedom from food is possible

Jessica Procini | Escape From Emotional Eating

I’ve been speaking to a number of women recently who have been asking me, “Is freedom from emotional eating really possible for me?”

They’ll go on to tell me how they’ve spent years in therapy, learned intuitive eating, but still struggle…especially when life gets tough.

They’ll tell me how they work in the health and wellness field – a doctor, nurse, therapist, personal trainer, nutritionist, etc. – how they know A LOT when it comes to what they should be eating… but they struggle to be consistent.

They’ll tell me how they don’t have 100’s of pounds to lose, but their emotional eating is holding them back from operating at a higher level and therefore reaching higher levels of success in their personal and professional life.

Then they’ll ask me… Is freedom from emotional eating really possible for me?
Or is emotional eating something I’m just going to have to learn to live with?

Now I have to ask you, is this something you have been wrestling with too?

If so, I’ve got two pieces of good news for you:

Good News For You Part 1 💖

This choice point is a very important part of your healing journey.

I vividly remember wrestling with that same question…“is freedom from emotional eating really possible for me? Or is this my cross to bear?”

At that point, I had already binged ate my way through nutrition school. I had already spent 900+ hours in therapy. And I was still feeling out of control with food.

But I also vividly remember there was something inside of me…like a deep knowing

That I was not put on this planet with this issue of emotional eating without a solution, there just had to be a way.

I didn’t want my emotional eating to get worse as I got older and life got harder.

That I hadn’t come this far only to come this far, there was more work for me to do in order to truly break free. There just had to be a way!

It was at that moment, even though I had no idea how I would find freedom from emotional eating, I made a strong choice for myself: I will break free from this.

Settling was NOT an option.

Ultimately, it was this choice to believe that freedom and peace in my relationship with food and in my relationship with myself were possible that led me to now being 6+ years free from emotional eating and helping other high-achieving women do the same.

Good News Part 2 💖
