A few of my favorite things (April 2024 Edition)

Jessica Procini | Escape From Emotional Eating

I can’t believe it’s been 7 months since I shared a few of my favorite things with you! Honestly, over the last year, I’ve been really committed to slowing my consumption down by focusing on investing my time, energy, and resources in things I TRULY love… things that I come back to time and time again, season after season.

For example, I’d rather have a handful of beautiful, high-quality pieces of clothes than an entire closet full of fast fashion and the hottest trends.

As I’ve leaned into this approach more than ever, I’ve found what really stands the test of time, and I want to share them with you!

So we can basically call this list “A Few Things I’m STILL Really Loving” – teehee!

I have super sensitive skin. I’ve found that what works best for me is keeping my skincare routine (and life!) super simple with ingredients that I know work for me and my body.

I’m talking only a cleanser and moisturizer most days kinda simple. But, every once in a while I’ll exfoliate.  Wild, I know! 😂

When I do, I reach for Kora Organics Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Mask.

I love its smell of peppermint (aromatherapy is a big part of their product line!) and that it gets the job done without being too harsh on my skin.

I also love that Kora Organic’s Founder, Miranda Kerr, and I share the same background in Holistic Health Coaching.

Looking for a healthy on-the-go snack?

I’ve shared this before, but I’ve STILL really been loving Elemental Superfoods’ Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Super Seed Bars.

Their ingredients are 🌟- which is rare when it comes to a bar! And I’ve found them satiating, yummy, and stabilizing for my energy, too.

I’ve STILL been using them as a pre-ballet class snack. And they’re great when you have dinner plans in a few hours but are hungry NOW.

They have lots of different flavors, so if chocolate peanut butter isn’t your jam, check out their other flavors!

When I first fell in love with them, I reached out to the company, and they gave me a 15% discount for my friends and family (that’s you 😉😉) – use code ESCAPE for 15% off your first order. ENJOY! 😋

I’ve been making my own nut milk, and I couldn’t be happier about it!

Back in the day, I attempted to make my own but I hated having to strain it. The whole thing was messy and complicated to me that I went back to buying it at the store.

UNTIL I got the Almond Cow

Now, the whole process is a simple push of a button! Clean-up is easy-peasy. And the milk is so good even my husband uses it!

I learned a few hidden tricks to make our Almond Milk in this Almond Cow super duper creamy with the perfect amount of vanilla flavoring and sweetness.

If you have an Almond Cow or are thinking of buying one, email me, and I’d be happy to share my tips and tricks with you (this email is getting long)!
