I used to eat standing in my kitchen while no one was watching.

When I finally committed to healing my relationship with food, learning to eat fully present with my food was a part of the process. But, boy was it difficult for me.

So I started using the mantra “table-plate-chair” to get me to grab these ingredients to eat.


Over time I was able to build the internal mental muscles to be present with my food. Fast forward to today where I’m fully free from my emotional eating.

So the next time you catch yourself eating standing in the kitchen while no one is watching, try the mantra.

And remember, most of all, healing your emotional eating is a J O U R N E Y.
