A few of my favorite things (August Edition)
Every once in a while, I come across something that brings me so much joy that I just have to share it with the people I love. Since you are a part of my inner circle, 😉 I wanted to share a few things I have been using and loving in my personal life in hopes that it will elevate yours as well! Here is what I’ve been using and loving this month: |
I recently purchased these sweet prep cups from Anthropologie, and I’ve been loving them even more than I expected. I’ve been using them almost daily, filling them with grapes for a mid-day snack or my favorite ice cream. I love how they elevate my eating experience and double as measuring cups making baking and cooking with them super fun! |

This may be too much information and not for everyone, but hear me out…especially if you menstruate. Many years ago, I gave the Diva Cup a shot and I could never get the hang of it. I’ll spare you the very messy details – it just did not work for me. But when my path crossed with Kim Rosas at Period Nirvana, my world changed. Enter, the Menstrual Disc! Now I personally use the Hello Disc and if commandeering the entire table conversation at a 4th of July BBQ to tell alllll my friends about how my menstrual disc changed my life isn’t sayin’ something…well, then just ask my husband. Because I can guarantee he’s sick of hearing me talk (and even sing!) about it every. single. month! 🤣 |

Ever listen to a podcast and feel like it was speaking to your soul? This was it for me. There were so many mind-blowing heart-touching shares like the acronym for shame, details of Mayim’s struggle with emotional eating, and complicated parent-adult child relationships. If the words enmeshment, individuating, or coping mechanisms are something you are working on in your personal life (like I am in mine), I highly recommend a listen. |
